Bereits seit 2001 bemĂŒht sich die DĂŒsseldorfer Rheinbahn verstĂ€rkt um die interkulturelle Kompetenz ihrer Belegschaft. Mit einem Aushang wurden damals BeschĂ€ftige gesucht, die an einem interkulturellen Training des DGB-Bildungswerks teilnehmen wollten. Aus dem Training entstand 2003 der âInterkulturelle Stammtischâ.
Anfang des Jahres startete das Projekt âDiskriminierungsschutz: Handlungskompetenz fĂŒr Ver-bĂ€ndeâ des Deutschen Instituts fĂŒr Menschenrechte. Mit Schulungen und Beratungen soll in Be-troffenen- und WohlfahrtsverbĂ€nden, SozialverbĂ€nden, Verbraucherschutz- und MieterverbĂ€n-den, Gewerkschaften sowie Arbeitgeber- und WirtschaftsverbĂ€nden eine Antidiskriminierungs-kultur gefördert werden.
