In his recent “Global Report on Aging”, Finnish researcher Kimmo Leppo found out that, due to its fertility history and recent increases in longevity, the Finnish population is aging more rapidly than most populations in Europe. The proportion of people over 65 will increase from 16 to 27 percent in 2030.
