The freedom of an estimated one million Sikhs in Europe to visibly practice their faith is a major concern for Sikhs throughout the world. Sikh and human rights representatives from over a dozen countries across the globe took part in a conference to highlight the problem of religious freedoms.

Creating an open culture and complying with the law are equally important to employers when it comes to diversity training, according to research. One in three employers said they offered diversity training to improve the working environment and another third cited legal compliance as their primary reason.
