European Disabilty Forum starts campaign for EU equality directive

The European Disability Forum (EDF) celebrates its tenth birthday with an ambitious project: unter the slogan “1Million4Disability – Make disability discrimination history”, the association starts a campaign that aims at the adoption of a EU equality directive. The EDF counted more than 50 million disabled people in the EU and demands the right to equal access to education, treatment in employment, recognition before the law and social protection, health and long-term care services.
