In his recent “Global Report on Aging”, Finnish researcher Kimmo Leppo found out that, due to its fertility history and recent increases in longevity, the Finnish population is aging more rapidly than most populations in Europe. Auf scharfe Kritik traf der Vorstoß des Kölner Kardinals Joachim Meisner, der ein Verbot von multireligiösen Feiern an katholischen Schulen erlassen hat.
