Bank of America and Bright Ideas Trust partner for London’s youth

Bank of America Charitable Foundation and Bright Ideas Trust announced in December a new partnership aimed at helping young people aged 16-30 in London inner city areas to create and run successful businesses. Tim Campbell, founder and CEO of Bright Ideas Trust, commented, “Bright Ideas Trust has been founded because we want to help young people get involved in business, to see that it is fun and that through business they can achieve success no matter what their background. If they have a bright idea and the commitment to succeed we will help them to achieve their goals.” Campbell added: “My message to young people is this: Anyone who wants to work hard and pursue a good business idea can be successful, especially with the right type of support. If you put your hand up for assistance, Bright Ideas Trust can help you to achieve your goals.” Bank of America’s investment in Bright Ideas Trust totals over €700,000 and forms part of the bank’s major new charitable commitment to the UK, myPotential myCommunity myEnvironment™. Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said, “In these difficult financial times, it’s very encouraging to see such a strong commitment from Bank of America… This partnership will be an important step to achieving the fundamental long-term change that is profoundly needed so that we can take pride in every young person and ensure they reach their full potential.”
