“Employer Team” honours companies that promote older workers

Five multinational companies have been added to the AARP’s “National Employer Team”. Companies like Staples (office supplier), Home Depot (home improvement retailer) or ClientLogic (business process outsourcing services), who operate branches in Europe, Middle East and Asia, are now part of AARP’s list of companies that promote work for older people. They joined the AARP list because they recognize that older workers make up a very important part of the workforce. They want to hire older workers because they know that they bring leadership, experience, and skills to the job. Up to now, around 50 internationally operating companies who have introduced benefits like flexible working schedules or job sharing opportunities have joined the “National Employer Team”.
