World Ageing & Generations Congress 2008 at the University of St. Gallen

The fourth World Ageing & Generations Congress will take place from August 28th – August 30th 2008 at the University of St. Gallen. The aim of the congress is to address important topics related to demographic change. The issues of the World Ageing & Generations Congress 2008 will be discussed in 6 keynote speeches, 4 panel discussions, 17 special sessions and 5 nightcap discussions. By establishing a wide platform for a broad audience and bringing together over 100 specialists from different spheres of society and academic disciplines, the World Demographic Association is supposed to provide a framework for the development of innovative solutions in the realms of public policy, business, health and academia. The final highlight of the congress is the award ceremony on August 30th 2008 in which the Prix des Générations will be awarded to an outstanding personality in acknowledgement of his or her significant lifelong contributions to the well-being of several generations.
