CEJI’s anti-discrimination education was presented and recognised at the conference ‘Quality in Mobility’ in Ljubljana, which brought together managers of the European Commission’s education programmes in the European Union’s Member States. Mr Ján Figel’, European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth, stated: “The new training programme can make a significant contribution to improving the delivery of adult education.” CEJI Chairperson Baron Alain Philippson, said: “This award shows the importance the Commission attaches to intercultural dialogue and the fight against discrimination of all kinds.”
The training module on Religious Diversity and Anti-Discrimination aims to address religious diversity and discrimination issues, and is open to people of all senses of religious and non-religious belonging. Using interactive and participatory methods, it seeks to provide adult educators with tools for situations where religious diversity and discrimination are a concern.
